COUNTY TAXES:

If you live in the Village of Fall Creek please consider using the Fall Creek Public Library. When Fall Creek village residents use other libraries in Eau Claire County, the FCPL is required to pay that library for each item that is checked out. For 2008, that amount was over $8,600! There is no cost for borrowing items from other libraries through interlibrary loan. Simply specify the FCPL as your pick-up location when requesting materials. Residents of nearby townships, who do not have a library of their own, can help by considering the FCPL their home library and checking out materials here. Our goal is to serve you better. By reducing the amount paid out to other libraries, we will keep revenues in Fall Creek and can better serve local residents. Thank you for your continued support of the library.

For more information about the county taxes for libraries, contact Patty Braden, Library Director at 877-3334
