Youth Programs

We offer quality programming for a variety of ages, interests, and abilities. Programs are free and open to the public. Some programs do require advance registration. See below for more information.

Pre-School Story Time

10 am-11 am ages 3-5

Wednesday: Feb 6th, March 6th & 20th, April 3rd, May 1st, 15th, & 29th.

Bring your littles and enjoy exciting stories, songs, activities, and more. Help your child develop a life-long love of reading by showing them just how fun it can be! Siblings welcome!

Baby/Toddler Story Time

10 am-11 am ages 0-3 year 

Wednesdays: Feb 27th, March 13th & 27th, April 24th, May 8th & 22nd. 

We’ll sing, bounce, dance, rhyme, and play together to help introduce and improve early learning skills, motor development, and a love of reading! Following Story Time there will be time to play! Sibling welcome!

Play N’ Learn

9:30 am-10:45 am ages 0-5

Tuesdays: Feb 5th & 19th.

The Family Resource Center of Eau Claire invites you to family play group! A free, fun, and interactive time for children and their parents/caregivers. Each family will receive a free copy of the featured book and a snack.

Home School Club

1 pm-2:30 pm All ages

Feb 26th: A Nutritionist from the Eau Claire County Health Department will join us for a fun presentation about healthy foods. Activities will include story time, taste testing, and a chance to practice a hands-on cooking skill!

March 26th: A Naturalist from Beaver Creek Reserve will join us to present an Earth Talk followed by activities.

April 30th: Author visit from local children’s author W.H. Beck. Details to follow!

May 28th: Super-fun Spelling Bee: children can participate in a no-pressure, just-for-fun, spelling bee. There will be many ways to participate if kids prefer not to spell out loud!

Movie Morning

10 am-12 pm all ages

Thursday, February 21st  *School’s Out*

Kick back and enjoy some popcorn and juice while watching a movie on the big screen! We will be showing Smallfoot!

Family Yoga Story Time 

 10 am-11 am all ages

Saturday, April 6th 

An interactive story time filled with yoga movements for the whole family! Presented by Lattitude 44 Yoga Studio.



Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 13th 10 am

Join us as Keller Park for Fall Creek’s Easter Egg Hunt! Multiple age groups, bring your own basket, FREE hot cocoa and cookies! Special appearance by the Easter Bunny! *In case of inclement weather all activities will take place at the Village Hall & Library.




1000 Books Before Kindergarten

This FREE program encourages you to read 1,000 books to your child before they enter kindergarten, a goal experts say children need to help them learn to read independently. Stop by the library to register your child!
